Keynotes & Professional Development Sessions

In her 17 years of teaching, Leslie Rob has attended many keynotes and professional development sessions in the states and abroad, so she gets how mundane they can be. She makes it her mission to make her keynote and professional development sessions fun, informative, encouraging and full of takeaways for teachers to immediately implement into their classrooms. Today’s K-12 students need a different approach. Leslie's keynotes and professional development sessions are designed to inspire and equip teachers to do just that. Bring her to your teacher or education-based conference, workshop, school, district, PD day, etc.

You’re Hired Approach

A Proven Classroom Management Approach

DISCLAIMER: This approach may not befor everyone, but I hope it helps someone.

This classroom management approach was born out of a growing and urgent challenge: students refusing to complete assignments, opting for zeros, disengaging from class activities, and exhibiting an overwhelming sense of apathy.

The “You’re Hired Approach” introduces a practical and transformative approach that reframes school as a simulation of the workplace. Through this lens, students begin to understand that their current behaviors of missing deadlines, refusing collaboration, and opting out of responsibilities have real-world consequences. This mindset shift helps bridge the gap between classroom expectations and life beyond school’s double doors.
